Giant dragon-hunting arrows, resembling
iron spears. Used by Hawkeye Gough and
his Dragonslayers, they puncture human
flesh easily. Dragonslayer Arrows can only
be used with the Dragonslayer Greatbow,
and vice-versa.

== Locations ==
=== Merchant purchase ===
Anor Londo

Cost: 500 Souls

Stock: ∞

'''Requirements'''
* Keep the Giant Blacksmith alive and friendly.

# Reach the cathedral interior beyond the Silver Knight archers. From the upper floor above the main hall, take the side stairs leading down toward the blacksmith.
# Find the seated giant working at the anvil and speak to him. Open the nearby outside door for a shorter return route. You can shop before defeating Ornstein and Smough.
# Buy Dragonslayer Arrow from the Giant Blacksmith's ammunition inventory.

=== Treasure pickup ===
Anor Londo cathedral exterior

# Reach the upper cathedral floor overlooking the main hall before Ornstein and Smough. Find the broken stained-glass window near the route to the Giant Blacksmith.
# Step outside, descend the small steps and follow the narrow ledge around the building. At its end, drop over the railing onto the platform below.
# Collect the Dragonslayer Greatbow and one Dragonslayer Arrow from the corpse. Leave through the opening in the fence toward the blacksmith's courtyard.

'''Notes for this route'''
* Keep close to the wall on the exterior ledge. This is a one-time pickup rather than a supply large enough to use the greatbow for long.

=== Repeatable enemy drop ===
Anor Londo

# Find the Silver Knights carrying greatbows around the cathedral approach. Use cover to get close before fighting on a narrow ledge.
# Defeat the archers and collect any Dragonslayer Arrows they drop. A successful arrow result gives one or three; an arrow drop is not guaranteed.
# Return to a bonfire to reset the archers. Buying from the Giant Blacksmith provides a steady alternative without relying on drops.

== Notes ==
* Equipping and firing: Equip in an arrow slot and use a compatible greatbow. Ordinary arrows and bolts do not work in its place.
* Reinforcement and scaling: Ammunition cannot be reinforced. Improve the bow or crossbow itself, and meet that weapon's requirements. This ammunition has no independent attribute scaling; the launcher, distance, hit location and target defenses affect the final damage.
* Greatbow compatibility: Works with Dragonslayer Greatbow and the DLC Gough's Greatbow. Ordinary bows and crossbows cannot fire it. The game description predates the second compatible greatbow.
* Physical impact: Has 100 base physical attack and a longer effective range than Gough's Great Arrow when fired from the same greatbow. Its heavy impact can stagger or knock down susceptible targets, but not every enemy can be knocked over. The greatbow's slow firing action leaves you exposed between shots.
* Renewable supply: The Giant Blacksmith sells unlimited stock. Silver Knight archers offer a chance of one or three arrows per successful ammunition drop. The corpse beside the greatbow gives only one, so it is not a lasting ammunition supply.
