* Equipping and firing: Equip in an arrow slot and use an ordinary bow. This ammunition cannot be fired by a greatbow or crossbow.
* Reinforcement and scaling: Ammunition cannot be reinforced. Improve the bow or crossbow itself, and meet that weapon's requirements. This ammunition has no independent attribute scaling; the launcher, distance, hit location and target defenses affect the final damage.
* Physical and fire power: The arrow has 35 base physical attack and 50 base fire attack. Those are ammunition values, not 85 guaranteed HP damage. Physical and fire damage face their respective defenses.
* Adding fire at range: Provides a fire component without using a pyromancy or consuming spell casts. It is useful when you want a bow shot to deal fire damage, but fire resistance can make the extra cost less worthwhile.
* Supplier: The female Undead Merchant is the regular seller. Chester and Gough do not add another Fire Arrow shop in the DLC. Keep her friendly if you want a renewable supply.
