Sen's Fortress

Requirements

• Ring both Bells of Awakening and reach the rooftops.
• Keep the Crestfallen Merchant alive and friendly.

1. Reach the fortress rooftops after passing the swinging blades and boulder passages.
2. Find the narrow bridge with a missing section leading to a separate tower. Jump the gap, enter the tower and speak to the seated merchant.
3. Open the Crestfallen Merchant's purchase menu. The pieces are sold separately.
4. Inventory: Balder Helm. Cost: 5,000 Souls. Stock: ∞; Balder Armor. Cost: 8,000 Souls. Stock: ∞; Balder Gauntlets. Cost: 5,000 Souls. Stock: ∞; Balder Leggings. Cost: 5,000 Souls. Stock: ∞.

Notes for this route

• The tower jump has a fatal drop. The merchant is separate from the friendly knight sitting inside the fortress.

Enemy drop

Undead Parish / Sen's Fortress

1. From the Parish church bonfire above Andre, cross the bridge back into the church and find the thin knights in worn plate armor. Defeat the Balder Knights and collect their drops.
2. Rest at the bonfire to respawn them and repeat. Each piece is a separate drop, so one kill does not guarantee the entire outfit.

Notes

• Pieces: Balder Helm, Balder Armor, Balder Gauntlets, Balder Leggings.
• Full outfit: Together these pieces weigh 25 and provide 36 poise. Each slot can be worn separately.
• Reinforcement: Every piece uses ordinary Titanite materials to reach +10.
• Farming: The merchant offers a purchase alternative to random drops. Balder equipment comes from Balder Knights, not ordinary Hollow soldiers.
