Requirements

• Defeat Artorias and obtain the Crest Key.

1. Find the Crest Key in the Mimic in the lower buildings of Oolacile Township. Return to the area beside Artorias' arena and climb the steps to the locked tower door.
2. Unlock the door, climb to Gough and kill him to obtain the outfit. Defeating Kalameet while leaving Gough alive does not reward his armor.

Notes for this route

• Arrange Gough's help with grounding Kalameet and finish his shop business before attacking him. Killing him removes those services.

Notes

• Pieces: Gough's Helm, Gough's Armor, Gough's Gauntlets, Gough's Leggings.
• Full outfit: Together these pieces weigh 34.5 and provide 53 poise. Each slot can be worn separately.
• Reinforcement: Every piece uses Twinkling Titanite to reach +5.
• Reinforcement: All four pieces can be reinforced with Twinkling Titanite. They are not fixed-strength armor despite some older descriptions of the outfit.
• The helm: The covered eyes are part of the model. Wearing the helm does not blind the player or change the camera to darkness.
