At Vinheim Dragon School, only magic
swordsmen on special orders are allowed
to learn this spell which grants temporary
strength to greatshields.

Requirements

Place the Lordvessel and progress through the Archives prison.

Escape the prison tower and return to the main library with the two rotating staircases.
Use the rotating stairs to reach the highest library balcony. Follow that level past the Channeler to the chest at the far end and open it for the spell.

Notes

Requirements and charges: Requires 15 Intelligence. Uses 1 attunement slot and provides 3 charges per attuned copy before equipment modifiers.
Casting tool: Cast with a catalyst. Most catalysts gain spell power from Intelligence; the Tin Darkmoon Catalyst uses Faith, while the Oolacile Ivory Catalyst and Oolacile Catalyst have fixed Magic Adjustment. Meeting this spell's Intelligence requirement is still necessary with those exceptions.
Shield enchantment: For 15 seconds, multiplies left-hand shield stability by 1.5 and removes health damage from attacks that are successfully blocked. Sufficient stability can eliminate blocking stamina loss, but a missed block or an unblockable attack can still hit you.
Casting: Cast with the catalyst in your right hand and the shield in your left. It replaces Magic Shield and disappears when you two-hand your other weapon.
