}In-game description
Soul of a proud Undead knight who
has long ago gone Hollow.
Use to acquire many souls.
Souls are the source of all life,
and whether Undead, or even Hollow,
one continues to seek them.
Where to find
Treasure pickup
Valley of Drakes
- Enter the valley from Darkroot Basin's cave lift, or from the New Londo/Blighttown shortcut if you have opened it.
- Follow the narrow cliff path to the sleeping Undead Dragon. Collect the soul item from the corpse near the dragon's front, then retreat as it wakes and attacks.
Notes
- Soul value: Consume for 2,000 souls. This is a fixed inventory-item reward, not the soul value of the enemy or area where it was found.
- Safe storage: Unused copies remain in your inventory when you die. Once consumed, the resulting carried souls can be lost with your bloodstain.
- Frampt exchange: Frampt gives 500 souls per item. Direct consumption gives more for this soul.
- Pickup coverage: The location above is a checked pickup option. Other corpses and some enemy drops can provide further copies; this entry does not imply there is only one in the game.
