The Duke's Archives courtyard

Requirements

Place the Lordvessel to remove the Archives' golden barrier.

Escape the Archives prison and work through the library's rotating staircases to the book rooms near the balcony bonfire.
Pull the lever in the larger book room to reveal the stairway leading outside. Descend to the garden filled with Crystal Golems, before the Crystal Cave.
Search the chest in this outdoor garden and collect the full Crystalline outfit. The crystal-armored warrior met earlier inside the Archives is not the armor source.

Notes

Pieces: Crystalline Helm, Crystalline Armor, Crystalline Gauntlets, Crystalline Leggings.
Full outfit: Together these pieces weigh 27.9 and provide 40 poise. Each slot can be worn separately.
Reinforcement: Every piece cannot be reinforced.
Durability: The pieces have low durability and cannot be reinforced. The word Crystalline does not indicate an ordinary armor conversion path.
Repair cost: Unlike crystal weapons, this outfit can be repaired. Repairs cost 100 Souls for each durability point restored, so repairing several damaged pieces can be expensive.
