}Weapon behavior
The strong attack performs several quick cuts rather than the ordinary Dagger's opening thrust. Its critical rating is 127. It has no built-in bleed, unlike Jagged Ghost Blade.
Reinforcement and comparison
Requires 5 Strength, has no Dexterity requirement and weighs 0.5. Physical damage has weak Strength scaling and no Dexterity, Intelligence or Faith scaling. Its high starting damage is more important than its E Strength grade at low attributes.
Uses Twinkling Titanite and stops at +5. It cannot change to normal or elemental reinforcement paths and cannot use resins or weapon-enchantment spells.

Weapon type: Dagger
Attack type: Slash/Thrust
The ghosts of New Londo clutch this wickedly
sharp dagger with their bony hands and make
mincemeat of the living.
One of the cursed weapons which can inflict
damage upon ghosts.
Where to find
Enemy drop
New Londo Ruins
Requirements
- Bring Transient Curses or another way to damage ghosts.
- At Firelink Shrine, take the stairs down past the Fire Keeper and ride the lift to New Londo Ruins. Follow the stairs to the waterfront and the wooden bridges. Break the pot containing a corpse before the first bridge for two Transient Curses.
- Cross the wooden bridges and use a Transient Curse before fighting the ghosts. Climb the stone stairs beyond the first pair of ghosts, then follow the raised route into the first building. Retreat onto the approach to separate the ghosts that emerge through the walls.
- Descend the spiral stairs in the first building. Instead of stopping at the Parrying Dagger corpse ahead, follow the ledge toward the fog doorway. Continue past that doorway to the screaming female ghost guarding a corpse with Transient Curses. Kill her and collect any drop.
- For a short farming loop, return along the same route to Firelink and rest, then repeat. Ordinary ghosts along the way drop Jagged Ghost Blade instead; they cannot supply Ghost Blade.
- Ghost Blade is a random drop from female ghosts. There are far fewer of these enemies than ordinary ghosts.
- There is no bonfire inside New Londo. Do not plan to reset the area at Ingward.
Notes
- Requirements and scaling: Requires 5 Strength, has no Dexterity requirement and weighs 0.5. Physical damage has weak Strength scaling and no Dexterity, Intelligence or Faith scaling. Its high starting damage is more important than its E Strength grade at low attributes.
- Hitting ghosts: This is a cursed weapon and can hit ghosts without a Transient Curse. That property does not curse your character or reduce maximum HP. It also does not make an ordinary shield block ghost attacks while you are uncursed.
- Attacks and criticals: The strong attack performs several quick cuts rather than the ordinary Dagger's opening thrust. Its critical rating is 127. It has no built-in bleed, unlike Jagged Ghost Blade.
- Upgrades and buffs: Uses Twinkling Titanite and stops at +5. It cannot change to normal or elemental reinforcement paths and cannot use resins or weapon-enchantment spells.
- Which ghost drops it: Farm the female ghosts that scream and use lightning. Ordinary scythe-armed ghosts drop the separate Jagged Ghost Blade, a curved sword. Getting that sword does not mean you have found this dagger.
