Reinforcement and comparison

Strength scales physical damage and Faith scales magical damage. Needs 50 Strength in one hand or 34 when two-handed, while the 30 Faith requirement remains.

Reinforce to +5 with Twinkling Titanite. There are no normal or elemental conversion branches. Cannot use resins or weapon-enchantment spells.

In-game description

Weapon type: Great Hammer
Attack type: Strike

A legendary weapon of the Way of White,
granted to an Undead paladin long ago.

This mass of iron can only be lifted by those
with inhuman strength, but it is blessed,
and very effective against agents of Dark.

Where to find

NPC invasion drop

Tomb of the Giants

Requirements

  • Place the Lordvessel.
  • Be in human form and keep Nito alive.
  1. From the later Tomb of the Giants bonfire, follow the descending route past the skeleton beasts toward the former golden fog. Continue onto the more brightly lit cliff path beyond it.
  2. Trigger Paladin Leeroy's invasion on this path, defeat him and collect Grant and Sanctus. Fight away from the edge so his equipment does not fall into an unreachable place.
  • His friendly summon in the Catacombs does not award the equipment. Killing Nito before triggering the invasion closes this route for the journey.

Notes

  • Requirements and weight: Requires 50 Strength, 30 Faith and weighs 24.
  • Separate scaling: Strength scales physical damage and Faith scales magical damage. Needs 50 Strength in one hand or 34 when two-handed, while the 30 Faith requirement remains.
  • Divine effect: Its Divine effect prevents susceptible skeletons from reassembling after a killing blow. The effect is separate from the Faith-scaled magical damage.
  • Area burst: The two-handed strong attack produces a miracle-like burst and spends 200 durability from a maximum of 600. It is a weapon attack rather than an attuned miracle cast and needs frequent repairs if used repeatedly.
  • Reinforcement and buffs: Reinforce to +5 with Twinkling Titanite. There are no normal or elemental conversion branches. Cannot use resins or weapon-enchantment spells.
