the Warrior of Sunlight covenant.
Hurl giant lightning spear.

The weapon of the God of War, who inherited
the sunlight of Lord Gwyn, but had
respect only for arms, and nothing else.

Altar of Sunlight, Undead Parish

Requirements

Normally have at least 25 Faith to join. Each boss you help defeat as a summoned white phantom lowers that joining requirement by five.

Reach the bonfire under the Hellkite bridge. From the room behind the gate, enter the side courtyard containing the broken statue and kneel at the Altar of Sunlight.
Join the Warriors of Sunlight, then offer ten Sunlight Medals at the altar to reach rank +1 and receive Great Lightning Spear.

Notes

Requirements and charges: Requires 30 Faith. Uses 1 attunement slot and provides 10 charges per attuned copy before equipment modifiers.
Casting tool: Cast with a talisman. Most talismans gain Magic Adjustment from Faith, while Velka's Talisman uses Intelligence and the Thorolund Talisman has fixed power. The spell's own Faith requirement still applies.
Covenant copy limit: This covenant reward is awarded once per character. Rejoining or beginning a later journey does not supply an extra copy to stack in another attunement slot.
Lightning attack: A stronger lightning projectile with the same ten base uses as Lightning Spear, but a 30-Faith requirement.
Covenant use: Rank +1 awards the spell. It remains usable outside the covenant; Sunlight Spear has a separate membership restriction.
Medals: You can obtain the required medals through successful co-op, selected fixed rewards and Chaos Bug drops. Offering medals at the altar, rather than just carrying them, advances the rank.
