Cost: 12000 Souls · Stock: ∞
Requirements
- Keep Domhnall of Zena alive and friendly.
- His first shop is in the Depths, beside the large door leading to Blighttown and near the approach to the Gaping Dragon arena.
- After both Bells of Awakening have been rung, return to Firelink Shrine. Walk up the aqueduct route toward Undead Burg and look beneath it for his seated figure. Carefully jump from the approach onto his ledge.
- Open the purchase menu and buy Helm of the Wise.
Notes
- Weight and poise: Equips on the head, weighs 5.1 and provides 8 poise. Poise helps resist stagger; it does not reduce health damage.
- Physical protection: Provides 18 normal physical defense at base reinforcement. Its strongest physical protection at this level is against slash damage. Different attack types use different physical defenses.
- Protection: At base reinforcement, its elemental defense is 12 magic, 13 fire, 10 lightning. Fire is its strongest elemental defense at this level. Defense values are not percentages of incoming damage blocked.
- Status resistance: Adds 11 bleed, 7 poison and 18 curse resistance at base reinforcement. These help resist buildup; they do not cure an existing status.
- Reinforcement: Cannot be reinforced. Its listed protection is not a starting point for a later +5 or +10 version.
- Buying the outfit: These are Domhnall's own clothes, but he sells them while alive. Killing him is unnecessary and removes his shop.
- Uneven protection: The armored helm and chest provide poise; the lighter gloves and boots do not. The outfit cannot be reinforced.
