- Kill Smough first. Defeat enlarged Ornstein in the second phase to receive Ornstein's soul. Killing Ornstein first awards a different soul when the fight is finished.

- Reach the cathedral hall beyond the Silver Knight archers and enter the Ornstein and Smough arena.
- Kill Ornstein first. Defeat empowered Smough in the second phase to receive Smough's soul. Killing Smough first awards a different soul when the fight is finished.
Leo Ring
Anor Londo, Ornstein and Smough
- Reach the large cathedral hall beyond the Silver Knight archers and enter the Ornstein and Smough boss arena.
- Defeat Smough first. Ornstein must survive the first phase and become the enlarged second-phase boss.
- Defeat enlarged Ornstein, then collect the ring at his death position. Killing Ornstein first does not give this ring in Remastered.
