Requirements
- Keep Gwyndolin alive and friendly.
- Have the Darkmoon Seance Ring and 10 Souvenirs of Reprisal.
- Lower Anor Londo's rotating staircase to the bottom and enter the Darkmoon Tomb. Wear the Darkmoon Seance Ring to reveal the passage behind the statue.
- Approach the fog and answer Gwyndolin without entering it. Join the Blade of the Darkmoon, then offer 10 Souvenirs of Reprisal to reach rank +1 and receive the talisman.
- Souvenirs come from successful covenant invasions or from crow demons in the Painted World, allowing an offline farming route.
- Passing through the fog challenges Gwyndolin instead of joining. Do not attack him if you still want this covenant reward.
Notes
- Requirements and weight: Requires 4 Strength, 24 Faith and weighs 0.3.
- Scaling: Faith supplies its miracle-power scaling. Its progression favors higher Faith investment; the 24 Faith requirement alone does not make it stronger than every other talisman at that level.
- Reward and use: The talisman and Darkmoon Blade are separate parts of the rank reward. The talisman can cast other compatible miracles; using those does not turn them into Darkmoon covenant spells.
- Casting: Casts miracles, not sorceries or pyromancies. Attune the miracle at a bonfire and meet its own requirements. Spell power affects applicable damage and healing; a utility miracle does not automatically improve just because spell power rises.
- Reinforcement: Cannot be reinforced or converted to another upgrade path. It also cannot receive pine resins or weapon-enchantment spells.
