}In-game description
Atrocious fecal waste material.
Throw at enemy to build up toxins,
but also builds up your toxicity.
Although the stench makes it difficult to
carry on one's person, turning an enemy toxic
inflicts high damage over a period of time.
Where to find
Merchant purchase
Firelink aqueduct / Lower Undead Burg
Cost: 200 Souls · Stock: ∞
Requirements
- Keep the female Undead Merchant alive and friendly.
- Use the Basement Key from Undead Parish to open the Lower Burg descent near the Hellkite bridge. Continue past the dogs and assassin ambushes toward the Capra Demon fog.
- Take the stairs beside that fog down toward the Depths entrance. Follow the adjoining tower stairs up to the aqueduct passage.
- Speak through the bars to the merchant, then open the nearby shortcut door back toward Firelink. Her stall can be revisited through that shortcut.
- Buy Dung pie from the female Undead Merchant's purchase menu.
Merchant purchase
Oolacile tower above the Artorias arena
Cost: 200 Souls · Stock: ∞
Requirements
- Obtain the Crest Key and keep Gough alive.
- Keep Hawkeye Gough alive and friendly.
- Defeat Artorias and explore Oolacile Township to find the Mimic holding the Crest Key.
- Return to the arena approach and take the stairs around its outer wall to the locked tower door. Open it with the Crest Key, climb the ladder and speak to Gough.
- Buy Dung pie from Hawkeye Gough's purchase menu.
Repeatable enemy drop
Blighttown
- Enter upper Blighttown from the Depths gate. The large club-wielding Infested Barbarians guard the first wooden platforms and the approach below.
- Defeat these large enemies and loot them. They can drop Dung Pies; rest at a bonfire to repeat the route.
Notes
- Toxic buildup: Thrown item that builds Toxic on a susceptible target and also builds Toxic on you. Repeated throws can poison the user before the target is affected.
- Cure: Carry Blooming Purple Moss Clumps if you intend to use several. Ordinary Purple Moss Clumps do not cure Toxic.
- Other uses: Can be exchanged with the Asylum crow for Demon Titanite once per journey. Feeding a spare to Frampt gives 200 souls.
