}In-game description
Special titanite stolen from a faceless
stone beast known as a Titanite Demon.
When the nameless blacksmith deity passed,
from several Slabs, great beasts arose.
The power of titanite remains within them,
and they still roam Lordran today.
Where to find
Encounter or quest reward
Undead Parish / Darkroot entrance
- From Andre's workshop, go down into the large room on the way to Darkroot Garden.
- Defeat the headless Titanite Demon and collect its guaranteed Demon Titanite. This particular demon does not respawn.
Encounter or quest reward
Sen's Fortress / Anor Londo
- In Sen's Fortress, the tar-filled floor beneath the swinging-blade walkways contains four Titanite Demons. Reach it by the lower side routes and defeat them for their fixed material rewards.
- In Anor Londo, another Titanite Demon waits in a small side room inside the cathedral. Defeat it for two Demon Titanites. These demons do not respawn.
- The fortress tar slows movement. The Rusted Iron Ring helps movement there but does not protect you from the demons' attacks.
Treasure pickup
Anor Londo
- From the first Anor Londo bonfire, inspect the sentinel-guarded side hall for a chest holding Demon Titanite.
- Take the central lift down toward the first gargoyle encounter. Circle behind the lift tower at its base and open the chest there for another.
- Later inside the cathedral, clear the three Silver Knights near Siegmeyer and open the chest in their room for two more.
Repeatable enemy drop
Lost Izalith shortcut
- Reach the stone bridge connecting Lost Izalith to the Demon Ruins shortcut tunnel. It is approached from the upper Izalith ruins, or through the shortcut door after opening it as a rank +2 Chaos Servant.
- Defeat the Titanite Demon standing on the bridge and collect two Demon Titanites. Return to a bonfire and repeat; this is the respawning demon.
- Do not mistake the one-time Parish, fortress and Anor Londo demons for this repeatable source.
Crow exchange
Northern Undead Asylum
Requirements
- Have Dung Pie available to give away.
- Ride the Firelink-to-Parish lift and step onto the ledge above Firelink as it rises. Use the nearby roof and curved buttress to reach the large crow nest. Curl up and wait to return to the Asylum.
- At the Asylum arrival cliff, find the smaller nest on the side ledge. Listen for the unseen crow speaking; the large travel nest is not the trading spot.
- Leave one Dung Pie inside the small nest. Quit and reload, then collect one Demon Titanite. Each different exchange works once per journey.
- Leave only the requested single offering. Extra items do not produce extra rewards.
Crow exchange
Northern Undead Asylum
Requirements
- Have Prism Stone available to give away.
- Leave one Prism Stone inside the small nest. Quit and reload, then collect one Demon Titanite. Each different exchange works once per journey.
- Leave only the requested single offering. Extra items do not produce extra rewards.
Notes
- Reinforcement total: Reinforces compatible boss-soul and special weapons to +5 in stages of 1, 1, 2, 2 and 4 Demon Titanites, for ten total. The material used to create a boss-soul weapon is separate from these ten upgrades.
- Creating boss weapons: For ordinary boss-soul weapons and shields, the Giant Blacksmith combines the appropriate soul with a compatible +10 base. Catalyst recipes have their own requirements. A name containing Demon does not identify the material: Demon's Greataxe and Demon's Great Hammer use normal reinforcement.
- DLC reinforcement: Abyss Greatsword uses Demon Titanite after it is forged from Artorias's soul. Manus Catalyst is also forged from a boss soul, but cannot be reinforced. Do not spend materials preparing an upgrade that the catalyst does not support.
- Renewable supply: The Lost Izalith bridge demon is the repeatable source and drops two per defeat. Most other Titanite Demons are fixed encounters. The Dung Pie and Prism Stone crow exchanges are separate once-per-journey trades.
