of pyromancy and one of the Daughters of
Chaos.

She wore this gold-hemmed black skirt before
even the Age of Fire, and it offers strong
resistance versus fire, poison, and other
perils.

Demon Ruins

  1. After defeating Quelaag and ringing the lower bell, descend from her domain into the Demon Ruins. Rest at the bonfire near the entrance.
  2. Follow the cliff route to the fog leading into Ceaseless Discharge's arena. Walk around the arena to the corpse on the stone altar at the far end.
  3. Collect the outfit, then be ready for Ceaseless Discharge to become hostile. Picking up the clothes triggers the encounter even if you have not attacked him.
  • Looting the altar is not a safe shopping stop. Plan the retreat or boss fight before taking the items.

Notes

  • Weight and poise: Equips on the legs, weighs 3 and provides 0 poise. This piece does not help you withstand hits without staggering.
  • Physical protection: Provides 23 normal physical defense at base reinforcement. Its strongest physical protection at this level is against strike damage. Different attack types use different physical defenses.
  • Protection: At base reinforcement, its elemental defense is 27 magic, 49 fire, 17 lightning. Fire is its strongest elemental defense at this level. Defense values are not percentages of incoming damage blocked.
  • Status resistance: Adds 32 bleed, 78 poison and 0 curse resistance at base reinforcement. These help resist buildup; they do not cure an existing status.
  • Reinforcement: Cannot be reinforced. Its listed protection is not a starting point for a later +5 or +10 version.
  • Fixed protection: The outfit cannot be reinforced. It offers strong fire and poison protection for its weight, but no poise.
  • Quest independence: The corpse is the armor source. Killing Quelana or the Fair Lady is unnecessary.
