Legendary Slabs were the domain of the Gods.
Reinforces fire weapons to +10,
and chaos weapons to +5.
Legendary Slabs are the heirlooms of a
nameless blacksmith deity, who forged the
weapons of other Gods. Weapons forged with
this slab become rare legendary weapons.

Treasure pickup
Lost Izalith
- Reach the upper ruins near the Bed of Chaos approach. Take the side route toward the collapsing floor and descend onto the roots above the poisonous Chaos Eater pit.
- In the lower pit, stay on the solid floor around the open holes. From Siegmeyer's side, go right, then left around the gaps and inspect the branching corridors for the chest holding the red slab.
- Open the chest and use the root route to climb out, or use a Homeward Bone after collecting it.
- If Siegmeyer is waiting here, killing all his Chaos Eaters before speaking to him ends his continuing quest branch. Collecting the slab does not require sacrificing that quest.

Northern Undead Asylum
Requirements
- Have unreinforced Ascended Pyromancy Flame available to give away.
- Ride the Firelink-to-Parish lift and step onto the ledge above Firelink as it rises. Use the nearby roof and curved buttress to reach the large crow nest. Curl up and wait to return to the Asylum.
- At the Asylum arrival cliff, find the smaller nest on the side ledge. Listen for the unseen crow speaking; the large travel nest is not the trading spot.
- Leave one unreinforced Ascended Pyromancy Flame inside the small nest. Quit and reload, then collect one Red Titanite Slab. Each different exchange works once per journey.
- This consumes the ascended +0 flame made by Quelana from a normal +15 flame. A normal +0 flame gives a red chunk instead; an ascended +1 to +5 flame is not the requested offering.
- Leave only the requested single offering. Extra items do not produce extra rewards.
Repeatable enemy drop
Lost Izalith
- Use the upper-ruins root descent to reach the poison pit. Defeat the respawning Chaos Eaters and collect their drops.
- Return to a bonfire to reset the remaining enemies. A red slab is extremely rare, so collect the fixed chest first.
- Do not clear Siegmeyer's quest group prematurely if you still want his surviving quest branch.
Notes
- Final reinforcement: One Red Titanite Slab completes Fire +9 to +10 or Chaos +4 to +5. Vamos must have performed the required earlier modifications with the appropriate ember.
- Flame exchange cost: The crow exchange gives up a casting tool that has already been reinforced to normal +15 and ascended by Quelana. It is a fixed alternative to a rare drop, but making that tool takes a substantial soul investment.
- DLC coverage: There is no new red-slab chest or separate red-slab type in the DLC. Its added fixed finishing materials are the ordinary slab in Kalameet's basin, the blue slab in Royal Wood and the white slab in the Chasm.
- Breakdown: Frampt exchanges one red slab for two Red Titanite Chunks. The transformation is permanent and does not provide a way to manufacture another slab.
