}In-game description
According to legend, this ring contains the
spirit of the evil eye, a dark beast which
assaulted Astora.
The strength of the evil eye does not waver,
and HP is absorbed from fallen enemies.
Where to find
Treasure pickup
The Depths
- Defeat Capra Demon and use the Key to Depths to enter the door below the Lower Burg route. Continue past the butcher kitchen into the sewer passages.
- From the Depths bonfire, descend toward the lower drains and the large rat. Use the lower sewer route to reach the passages near the gate where Kirk can invade, then take the side stairs into the Basilisk maze.
- Clear the Basilisks around the raised passages. Find the large floor opening beside the upper walkway, where a Humanity pickup lies beyond the gap.
- Look into the opening for the lower landing, then drop through into the side passage and collect the ring from the corpse. Return toward the sewer waterfall when finished.
- Basilisk mist causes curse buildup. Back away from clouds before the bar fills.
Notes
- Healing on enemy deaths: Restores 30 HP when a qualifying enemy soul reward is received. It can trigger even if another enemy or a hazard caused the kill.
- Timing limitation: The healing trigger has a short interval of about one second. Several enemies whose souls arrive together do not necessarily provide 30 HP each.
- Limits: Does not regenerate health while nothing is dying, raise maximum HP or turn attacks into lifesteal. The healing cannot fill health above your current maximum.
