Requirements

  • Keep Petrus of Thorolund alive and friendly.
  1. From the bonfire, enter the ruined building beside the pool and speak to the armored cleric, Petrus. Continue his conversation and agree to join the Way of White when he offers it, then open his purchase menu.
  2. Speak to Petrus of Thorolund and buy Thorolund Talisman from the weapon inventory.

Requirements

  • Finish Patches's Tomb of the Giants encounter without making him hostile.
  • Defeat Gravelord Nito and keep Patches alive.
  1. Keep Patches friendly during his Tomb of the Giants encounter. Tell him you are not a cleric when asked, return after his pit trick and finish the conversation.
  2. Defeat Gravelord Nito, then return to Firelink. Find Patches by the wall on the cemetery side of the ruins.
  3. Speak to Patches and buy Thorolund Talisman from the weapon inventory.

Notes

  • Requirements and weight: Requires 4 Strength, 10 Faith and weighs 0.3.
  • Fixed spell power: Has fixed Magic Adjust of 165 when its requirements are met. Increasing Faith does not increase that value, despite the displayed Faith scaling letter.
  • Low-Faith use: Its fixed power can suit a character investing only enough Faith for selected miracles. More Faith can unlock other miracles, but does not improve this talisman's applicable healing or damage through scaling.
  • Casting: Casts miracles, not sorceries or pyromancies. Attune the miracle at a bonfire and meet its own requirements. Spell power affects applicable damage and healing; a utility miracle does not automatically improve just because spell power rises.
  • Reinforcement: Cannot be reinforced or converted to another upgrade path. It also cannot receive pine resins or weapon-enchantment spells.
