}In-game description
This ring symbolizes Knight Artorias's
covenant with the beasts of the Abyss.
Its wearer, like Artorias himself, can
traverse the Abyss.
Where to find
Boss, quest or covenant reward
Darkroot Garden, Sif arena
- From Andre beneath the Undead Parish bonfire, pass the Titanite Demon and follow Darkroot Garden to the magically sealed stone door. Open it with the Crest of Artorias bought from Andre, or reach the far side by the ladder from the Hydra lake in Darkroot Basin.
- Continue past Alvina's ruins, cross the bridge toward the giant stone gate and enter the clearing with Artorias's grave.
- Approach the greatsword at the grave to begin the boss fight. Defeat Great Grey Wolf Sif to receive the ring.
Notes
- The Four Kings: Equip this ring before dropping down the stairwell into the Abyss in New Londo Ruins. Keep it equipped throughout the Four Kings fight or the Abyss will kill you.
- After the battle: Once the Four Kings are defeated, the cleared Abyss can be used without keeping the ring equipped. It is not required for the DLC Chasm of the Abyss.
- Progression item: Cannot be passed to another player and does not carry into NG+. If lost within the same journey, look in the recovery chest behind Frampt at Firelink Shrine.
