}In-game description
The serpent is an imperfect dragon and symbol
of the Undead. Its habit of devouring prey
even larger than itself has led to an
association with gluttony.
This gold ring, engraved with the serpent,
boosts its wearer's item discovery, so that
more items can be amassed.
Where to find
Treasure pickup
Sen's Fortress
- Ring both Bells of Awakening and enter the opened fortress beside Andre. Climb through the blade traps and boulder passages to the room controlling the rolling boulders.
- Aim the mechanism down the passage that ends in a deep boulder pit beside the lower Mimic room. Let enough boulders accumulate to fill the pit and break the wall beyond it.
- Turn the mechanism to a different outlet before following that passage down. Cross the filled pit and loot the corpse behind the broken wall.
Notes
- Item Discovery: Adds 200 Item Discovery. It improves eligible enemy loot rolls; it does not increase world pickups, chest contents or soul rewards.
- Stacking: Does not add another 200 discovery on top of the Symbol of Avarice. Either item can be combined with the discovery bonus from carried Humanity, which reaches its maximum at 10 Humanity.
- Limits: High discovery does not guarantee rare drops. The ring needs to be equipped when the relevant loot roll occurs.
