}In-game description
Legs of the Iron Golem, guardian of the
ancient Sen's Fortress, slayer of heroes who
ventured forth to Anor Londo.
Without its core, they are mere hunks of
iron, and can be equipped as solid protective
gear, but their immense weight hinders
stamina recovery.

Notes
- Weight and poise: Equips on the legs, weighs 9.7 and provides 20 poise. Poise helps resist stagger; it does not reduce health damage.
- Physical protection: Provides 54 normal physical defense at base reinforcement. Its strongest physical protection at this level is against slash damage. Different attack types use different physical defenses.
- Protection: At base reinforcement, its elemental defense is 25 magic, 23 fire, 10 lightning. Magic is its strongest elemental defense at this level. Defense values are not percentages of incoming damage blocked.
- Status resistance: Adds 27 bleed, 17 poison and 0 curse resistance at base reinforcement. These help resist buildup; they do not cure an existing status.
- Reinforcement: Cannot be reinforced. Its listed protection is not a starting point for a later +5 or +10 version.
- Stamina recovery: Wearing this piece slows stamina recovery by 1 point per second. This penalty is separate from the movement changes caused by total equipment load.
- Boss reward: The armor is bought after the boss dies. It is not collected directly from the Iron Golem's body.
