attack of its wearer when in danger.

Valley of Drakes

From Darkroot Basin, find the small cave bonfire below the Black Knight and take the lift down to the Valley of Drakes.
Leave the tunnel and follow the cliffside toward the blue drakes at New Londo's enormous floodgate. Watch for lightning and knockback near the bridge.
At the tower beside the gate, climb the long exterior ladder and collect the ring from the corpse at the top.

Notes

Low-health attack power: Raises physical, magic, fire and lightning attack power by 50% while your HP is below 20% of its current maximum. Enemy defense can make the increase in final damage different from 50%.
Spells: Applies to supported spell attacks as well as weapon attacks. It is not a bonus restricted to Strength or to physical weapons.
Threshold and risk: Healing above the threshold switches it off. A reduced maximum from Dusk Crown Ring or curse also reduces the absolute HP needed to stay in range. It offers no protection against the next hit.
