Requirements

  • Reach the cathedral interior bonfire where Solaire sits.
  1. Leave the bonfire room and fight the sword-carrying Silver Knights in the nearby halls and bedrooms. Inspect their loot after each kill.
  2. Rest at the bonfire to repeat. Spear carriers and greatbow archers are different variants; use sword knights when farming this sword.

Notes

  • Requirements and weight: Requires 16 Strength, 22 Dexterity and weighs 6.
  • Scaling: Dexterity supplies most physical scaling, with a small Strength contribution. There is no Faith or Intelligence damage scaling.
  • Handling: Its long blade and weight of 6 distinguish it from lighter straight swords. Strong attack sequences change with grip and have more commitment than a quick light slash.
  • Buff exception: Can use resins and compatible weapon-enchantment spells despite its Twinkling Titanite reinforcement. The Silver Knight Spear does not share that coating permission.
  • Reinforcement and buffs: Reinforce to +5 with Twinkling Titanite. There are no normal or elemental conversion branches. Can use resins and compatible weapon-enchantment spells.
