Where to find
Boss, quest or covenant reward
Lost Izalith, Siegmeyer branch
- Advance Siegmeyer through Sen's Fortress and Anor Londo. At Firelink, speak to him about opening the fortress, then find him in Blighttown and give him three Purple Moss Clumps.
- Continue to Lost Izalith's ruined upper section. At the collapsing floor above the Chaos Eater pit, move onto the roots and find Siegmeyer on the ledge overlooking the enemies.
- If you kill the Chaos Eaters below before allowing him to jump down, he gives you the ring and ends his adventure there.
- A different failed branch occurs if he joins the fight and survives with less than half his HP: his final dialogue leads to his death and the ring drop.
- These are quest-ending branches. Helping him survive the fight with sufficient health instead continues the quest toward its later reward.
Boss, quest or covenant reward
Siegmeyer of Catarina
- Find Siegmeyer at his current quest position, starting outside Sen's Fortress before it opens or inside the fortress afterward.
- Killing him drops the ring. Collect his drop at the encounter site.
- Killing him prevents later dialogue, gifts and the conclusion involving Sieglinde.
Notes
- Three defenses: Adds 25 points each to magic, fire and lightning defense. It gives no physical-defense bonus.
- Stacking: Can be paired with a single-element Stoneplate ring. For example, Spell Stoneplate and Speckled Stoneplate together add 75 magic defense and 25 each fire and lightning defense.
- Quest tradeoff: The peaceful Lost Izalith gift still ends Siegmeyer's progression. It is an alternative reward branch, not a required step toward the Titanite Slab ending.
