Boss, quest or covenant reward

Anor Londo, Siegmeyer encounter

Requirements

  • Keep Siegmeyer alive and friendly through this encounter.
  1. Meet Siegmeyer during his Sen's Fortress progression and continue to Anor Londo. From the interior bonfire beyond the Silver Knight archers, work through the mansion rooms to the upper roof route.
  2. Find Siegmeyer sitting outside the room containing three Silver Knights. Speak to him about the obstacle.
  3. Defeat the three knights in that room, then speak to Siegmeyer again until he gives you the ring.

Notes

  • Maximum health: Raises maximum HP by 5%. It does not regenerate lost HP; the original starting-gift wording can make that distinction easy to miss.
  • Stacking: Can be worn with Ring of Favor and Protection. Their maximum-HP bonuses multiply, giving about 26% more maximum HP together before whole-number handling.
  • Starting gift: You do not have to choose it at character creation to obtain it. Siegmeyer provides a later copy if his quest remains available.
