One of the special rings granted to the four
knights of Gwyn. The Wolf Ring belongs to
Artorias the Abysswalker.
Artorias had an unbendable will of steel,
and was unmatched with a greatsword.
Where to find
Treasure pickup
Darkroot Garden
- From Andre, pass the Titanite Demon and follow the garden path to the Crest of Artorias door. The nearby bonfire is behind a hidden wall beside the door.
- Take the open path beside the sealed door into the clearing with sleeping Giant Stone Knights. Near the entrance, attack the living tree blocking a side path.
- Follow the newly opened path downhill into the lower clearing. Find the ruined stone entrance leading uphill and deal with the Giant Stone Knights around its base and upper end.
- Go up the tunnel to the high ledge and collect the ring from the corpse. You do not need to buy the Crest or kill the Moonlight Butterfly for this route.
Notes
- Poise: Adds 40 poise, helping you finish actions through hits that would otherwise stagger you. It does not reduce their HP damage.
- Armor interaction: Adds to armor poise and can let lighter equipment reach a useful stagger threshold. Whether you withstand a hit depends on the attack's poise damage and your remaining poise.
- Limits: Poise is not immunity to grabs, knockdowns or every enemy attack. The ring does not improve shield stability or maximum stamina.
