against all manner of magic.

Painted World of Ariamis
- Return to the Northern Undead Asylum and collect the Peculiar Doll from your original cell. Carry it to the large painting in Anor Londo and interact with the painting.
- In the Painted World, reach the underground bonewheel area and open the route through the central courtyard. Collect the Annex Key from the underground passages.
- Use the Annex Key at the locked annex doorway near the courtyard. Climb the stairs inside, then take the long stairway to the left of the entrance. At the top, use the short descending steps to reach the corpse holding the outfit.
- Once inside the painting, the exit is beyond Priscilla's arena. She can be left alive, but you still need to reach her.
Notes
- Weight and poise: Equips on the chest, weighs 3.9 and provides 0 poise. This piece does not help you withstand hits without staggering.
- Physical protection: Provides 23 normal physical defense at base reinforcement. Its strongest physical protection at this level is against strike damage. Different attack types use different physical defenses.
- Protection: At base reinforcement, its elemental defense is 29 magic, 25 fire, 19 lightning. Magic is its strongest elemental defense at this level. Defense values are not percentages of incoming damage blocked.
- Status resistance: Adds 22 bleed, 22 poison and 13 curse resistance at base reinforcement. These help resist buildup; they do not cure an existing status.
- Reinforcement: Reinforce to +5 with Twinkling Titanite. Reinforcement improves defenses and resistances without changing weight, poise or maximum durability. Armor does not use weapon embers or elemental conversion paths.
- Oswald's outfit: These clothes resemble Oswald's, but killing him is unnecessary. The outfit is a treasure pickup in the Painted World.
- Separate items: Velka's Rapier is nearby behind breakable boards. It is separate loot, not an extra part of the outfit.
