limited to the Darkwraiths of Kaathe.

Requirements

  • Keep Kaathe available and belong to the Darkwraith covenant.
  • Keep Darkstalker Kaathe alive and friendly.
  1. Defeat Sif for Covenant of Artorias. Drain New Londo through Ingward's key route, then defeat the Four Kings while keeping the ring equipped.
  2. To meet Kaathe, defeat them before placing the Lordvessel through Frampt. Speak to Kaathe in the cleared Abyss, follow his covenant dialogue and join the Darkwraiths.
  3. While a member, speak to Kaathe and open his purchase menu.
  4. Buy Cracked Red Eye Orb from Darkstalker Kaathe's purchase menu.
  • Placing the Lordvessel for Frampt first prevents this covenant route in the current journey.

Firelink Shrine treasure alcove

  1. Enter the stone ruins near Petrus and reach the upper passage beside the Parish lift shaft.
  2. Drop to the lower alcove containing several treasure chests. Open the chest with four Cracked Red Eye Orbs.

Lower New Londo Ruins

  1. Get the Key to the Seal from Ingward and operate the floodgate lever to drain the lower ruins.
  2. Descend into the Darkwraith-filled lower streets and explore the courtyard with the well. Collect six orbs from the corpse on the well.

Notes

  • Invasions: A single-use tool for invading another player's world while you are human and in an eligible online area. It needs a compatible host and cannot create an offline invasion on demand.
  • Covenant and supply: You do not need Darkwraith membership to use a found orb. Kaathe's repeatable shop supply does require the covenant; the uncracked Red Eye Orb is a separate reusable reward.
  • Crow exchange: One cracked orb can instead be traded to the Asylum crow for two Purging Stones once per journey.
  • Remastered matching: Matchmaking considers the version's level and weapon restrictions. Do not treat old unlimited-upward invasion summaries as a guarantee for Remastered.
