Requirements

  • Keep Patches alive and friendly through his Tomb encounter.
  1. Survive Patches' trap in the Tomb of the Giants. Answer no to his question about being a cleric, return from the pit and settle the encounter without making him hostile.
  2. Defeat Nito, then find Patches on the graveyard side of Firelink Shrine and open his shop.
  3. Buy Divine Blessing from Patches's purchase menu.

Requirements

  • Rescue Rhea and keep her alive and friendly.
  1. After defeating the Capra Demon, meet Rhea and her two companions at Firelink Shrine. Speak to Rhea and Petrus, then return after their expedition leaves for the Catacombs.
  2. In the Tomb of the Giants, descend into the pit near Patches and find Rhea beside her two hollow bodyguards.
  3. Defeat Vince and Nico without hitting Rhea, then speak to her. Leave by the nearby tunnel, ladder and hidden wall.
  4. Return to the altar inside the Undead Parish church, where she now sells miracles. Buy the supplies you need before advancing more bosses.
  5. Buy Divine Blessing from Rhea of Thorolund's purchase menu.

Gift or encounter reward

Character creation

  1. Select Divine Blessing as the starting gift when making a new character. Start the game with 3 in your inventory.

Treasure pickup

Sen's Fortress

  1. Reach the open fortress roof and take the side route to the tower guarded by the rapier-wielding Undead Prince Ricard.
  2. Defeat Ricard, enter the tower behind him and open the chest containing the blessing. The other chest holds a separate ring.

Gift or encounter reward

Northern Undead Asylum crow trade

  1. Join Princess's Guard by speaking to Gwynevere after Ornstein and Smough to obtain Ring of the Sun Princess.
  2. Return to the small Asylum trading nest. Leave that ring, reload from the title screen and collect two Divine Blessings. This consumes the ring and can be done once per journey.

Notes

  • Recovery: Fully restores HP and clears ordinary Poison, Toxic and bleed buildup. It does not remove curse or the parasite egg infection.
  • Limited supply: A powerful single-use recovery item. Rhea and Patches each sell one in their respective shops; resting at a bonfire does not restock them.
  • Teacher cutoff: Rhea's shop requires rescuing her from the Tomb of the Giants. Her later quest can remove that shop, so buy the blessing during the safe Parish stage if you want it.
