The ring is engraved with a lingering
dragon, and boosts the length of the
effects of sorceries.

Requirements
- Rescue Griggs and keep him alive and friendly.
- Have at least 10 Intelligence to open his spell shop.
- Buy the Residence Key from the male Undead Merchant. Unlock the Lower Burg descent near the Hellkite bridge with the Basement Key from Undead Parish.
- Follow the lower street to the locked house where a man calls for help. Open it with the Residence Key, free Griggs and exhaust his dialogue. Break the barrels carefully without hitting him.
- Return to Firelink Shrine and find him in the covered ruins. Speak to him and open his sorcery shop.
- Speak to Griggs of Vinheim and buy Lingering Dragoncrest Ring from the purchase menu.
Notes
- Duration: Extends supported sorcery and pyromancy effects by 50% while equipped. This includes the three Magic Weapon spells, both Magic Shield spells, Hidden Body, Hidden Weapon, Hush, Cast Light, Fall Control, Flash Sweat, Iron Flesh and Power Within.
- What changes: Lengthens the effect rather than adding damage, spell charges or casting speed. It does not extend miracle weapon buffs such as Sunlight Blade and Darkmoon Blade.
- Keeping the bonus: The duration timer is slowed while the ring is worn. Removing it partway through makes the remaining duration run at its ordinary rate; briefly wearing it for the cast does not bank the entire extended duration.
- Teacher requirement: Griggs needs 10 Intelligence to offer this shop. The ring itself has no Intelligence requirement to equip. Buy what you need before completing his departure from Firelink.
