Gwyndolin, and thus he was raised as a
daughter. His magic garb is silk-thin,
and hardly provides any physical defense.

Requirements
- Keep Domhnall of Zena alive and friendly.
- Defeat Dark Sun Gwyndolin in Anor Londo.
- His first shop is in the Depths, beside the large door leading to Blighttown and near the approach to the Gaping Dragon arena.
- After both Bells of Awakening have been rung, return to Firelink Shrine. Walk up the aqueduct route toward Undead Burg and look beneath it for his seated figure. Carefully jump from the approach onto his ledge.
- Open the purchase menu and buy Moonlight Waistcloth.
Notes
- Weight and poise: Equips on the legs, weighs 1.8 and provides 0 poise. This piece does not help you withstand hits without staggering.
- Physical protection: Provides 12 normal physical defense at base reinforcement. Its protection is the same against normal, strike, slash and thrust damage.
- Protection: At base reinforcement, its elemental defense is 18 magic, 10 fire, 10 lightning. Magic is its strongest elemental defense at this level. Defense values are not percentages of incoming damage blocked.
- Status resistance: Adds 14 bleed, 14 poison and 18 curse resistance at base reinforcement. These help resist buildup; they do not cure an existing status.
- Reinforcement: Cannot be reinforced. Its listed protection is not a starting point for a later +5 or +10 version.
- Crown effect: The Crown of the Dark Sun increases damaging sorceries, pyromancies and miracles by 10%. The robe, gloves and waistcloth do not provide that spell bonus.
- Limits: The crown does not increase damage added by weapon-enchantment spells. It can be worn with the appropriate spell-damage ring, but shares the head slot with the Crown of Dusk.
- Quest cost: Killing Gwyndolin ends access to his covenant services for this journey and makes the Anor Londo Fire Keeper hostile.
