}In-game description
This ring was secretly worn by a certain
surreptitious sorcerer at Vinheim Dragon
School.
The ring is engraved with an everlasting
dragon in silent slumber, and masks all
sound emitting from its wearer.
Where to find
Treasure pickup
Sen's Fortress
- Climb to the boulder-control mechanism and redirect the boulders to an outlet away from the passage you are using.
- Take the descending ramp toward the lower passages. Before the broken pillar, drop sideways onto the wooden platform occupied by a Serpent Mage.
- Go through the opening beyond that platform and drop to the lower ledge. Turn toward the corpse hanging at the edge and collect the ring.
Boss, quest or covenant reward
Griggs of Vinheim, Firelink Shrine / Sen's Fortress
- Rescue Griggs from the locked Lower Burg house with the Residence Key. He later becomes a merchant in Firelink Shrine.
- Killing Griggs drops the ring, but ends his teaching. For his later hostile encounter instead, buy out his relevant spells and advance Logan's departure until Griggs leaves Firelink for Sen's Fortress.
- Find and defeat the hollow Griggs in the fortress to collect his drop.
- The fortress treasure gives another acquisition option without killing the friendly teacher.
Notes
- Sound concealment: Silences movement sounds used by enemies to detect you, providing the practical movement effect of Hush while equipped.
- Visual detection: Enemies can still see you and react to contact or attacks. Pair with Ring of Fog for a separate reduction in visual detection.
- Duration: Has no spell-charge cost or timer. Wearing it does not make weapon hits harmless or guarantee that an enemy already in combat will forget you.
