Northern Undead Asylum
Requirements
- Return to the Asylum and have Skull Lantern.
- Unlock the Undead Parish church lift to Firelink. Ride it upward from Firelink and step onto the ruined ledge above the shrine. Follow the route up the buttress and stairs to the large crow's nest, then curl up and wait for the crow to carry you back to the Asylum.
- At the Asylum's cliffside approach, find the small nest where an unseen crow speaks. This is the trading nest, separate from the large crow's transport nest.
- Obtain a Skull Lantern from the Catacombs necromancers or the treasure pit where Patches traps you in the Tomb of the Giants. Keep a different light source if you still need the lantern.
- Use Leave to put one Skull Lantern in the small nest. Quit to the title screen and reload, then pick up Ring of Fog from the nest.
- Each accepted offering can be exchanged once per playthrough. Leave one item at a time; Discard destroys it.
Boss, quest or covenant reward
Darkroot Garden
Requirements
- Join the Forest Hunters and complete three successful covenant host kills online.
- From Andre beneath the Undead Parish bonfire, pass the Titanite Demon and follow Darkroot Garden to the magically sealed stone door. Open it with the Crest of Artorias bought from Andre, or reach the far side by the ladder from the Hydra lake in Darkroot Basin.
- Cross the forest guarded by human hunters and enter the small stone ruins. Speak to Alvina, the large cat in the window, and agree to join the Forest Hunter covenant.
- Equip Cat Covenant Ring and defeat hosts through Forest Hunter invasions. After three successful host kills, return to Alvina and speak to her for the ring.
Notes
- Visual stealth: Makes you translucent and reduces how far away enemies can notice you by sight. It does not make you completely invisible, silent or immune to an enemy already attacking.
- Player opponents: Other players can still lock on at close enough range. The old claim that it prevents all player lock-on does not describe Remastered.
- Stacking: Combine with Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring for separate visual and sound concealment. Hidden Body takes over the visual stealth effect while active rather than adding a second full concealment bonus.
- Spell targeting: Reduces the distance at which hostile homing soul projectiles acquire you. Standing close to the caster can still trigger them.
