In-game description

Ring granted to those bound by the
Darkmoon Blade covenant.
Answer Dark Sun Gwyndolin's summoning.

Gwyndolin, all too aware of his repulsive,
frail appearance, created the illusion of
a sister Gwynevere, who helps him guard
over Anor Londo. An unmasking of these
deities would be tantamount to blasphemy.

Where to find

Boss, quest or covenant reward

Anor Londo, Darkmoon Tomb

Requirements

  • Keep Gwyndolin and the covenant friendly.
  1. In Anor Londo, reach the large rotating staircase connecting the cathedral approaches. Use its central lever until the platform is at its lowest position.
  2. Descend the stairs all the way to the Darkmoon Tomb bonfire.
  3. Wear the Darkmoon Seance Ring beside the Gwyn statue to reveal the passage. Approach the candles before the fog and kneel when prompted.
  4. Join the Blade of the Darkmoon covenant to receive this ring and the Blue Eye Orb. Do not walk through the fog if you want to keep Gwyndolin friendly.

Notes

  • Online use: Allows members of the Blade of the Darkmoon to answer Gwyndolin's summons and invade eligible players in darkened Anor Londo. A successful invasion can reward a Souvenir of Reprisal.
  • Different rings: This is the invasion ring, not the Darkmoon Seance Ring that opens the tomb and adds a spell slot. It gives no attack bonus or spell slot by itself.
  • Covenant requirement: Requires the matching covenant for its invasion function. Carrying the ring does not preserve access after you betray Gwyndolin.
