Sen's Fortress
Requirements
- Ring both Bells of Awakening to open the fortress.
- Inside the fortress, reach the first stairway used by the rolling boulder. Wait for it to pass, climb uphill and use the opening on the left to drop onto the lower ledge.
- Follow the ledge into the narrow passage and climb the stairs to the cell area. Collect the corpse holding the Black Sorcerer outfit and Hush.
- Open the gate from this side to reconnect with the fortress route.
Notes
- Weight and poise: Equips on the head, weighs 0.7 and provides 0 poise. This piece does not help you withstand hits without staggering.
- Physical protection: Provides 5 normal physical defense at base reinforcement. Its strongest physical protection at this level is against slash damage. Different attack types use different physical defenses.
- Protection: At base reinforcement, its elemental defense is 11 magic, 8 fire, 8 lightning. Magic is its strongest elemental defense at this level. Defense values are not percentages of incoming damage blocked.
- Status resistance: Adds 12 bleed, 12 poison and 2 curse resistance at base reinforcement. These help resist buildup; they do not cure an existing status.
- Reinforcement: Reinforce to +10 using Titanite Shards, Large Titanite Shards, Titanite Chunks and a Titanite Slab. Reinforcement improves defenses and resistances without changing weight, poise or maximum durability. Armor does not use weapon embers or elemental conversion paths.
- Different sorcerer outfit: This is separate from the Sorcerer starting outfit found in Lower Undead Burg.
- Hush is separate: The spell is found beside the armor. Wearing the clothes alone does not cast Hush or give its full sound-suppression effect.
