In-game description

Soul of Gravelord Nito, first of the dead.
This Lord Soul was discovered at the
dawn of the Age of Fire.

Gravelord Nito administers the death of all
manner of beings. The power of this soul is
so great that it satiates the Lordvessel,
despite the fact that much of its energy has
already been offered to death.

Where to find

Boss reward

Tomb of the Giants: Gravelord Nito

  1. Defeat Pinwheel in the Catacombs and climb into the dark Tomb of the Giants. Bring a Skull Lantern, Cast Light or Sunlight Maggot so you can see the ledges.
  2. Work past Patches's area and the Skeleton Beasts to the lower tomb bonfire. Continue down toward the exposed cliff path and the golden barrier, which disappears after placing the Lordvessel.
  3. Pass the cave with Pinwheel copies and the water full of baby skeletons. Climb toward the fog gate and drop into Nito's boss arena.
  4. Defeat Gravelord Nito to receive his Lord Soul. Return to the Firelink Altar to offer it.

Notes

  • Nito's soul: This Lord Soul belongs to Gravelord Nito. The Bed of Chaos reward has the same inventory name but is a separate required offering.
  • Boss encounter required: Visiting Nito's coffin through the Gravelord Servant covenant does not award this soul. You must defeat him through the Tomb of the Giants boss route.
  • Covenant cutoff: Killing Nito prevents further Gravelord Servant covenant offerings for this journey. Obtain any covenant rewards you want before the boss fight.
  • Progression item: Offer it to the Lordvessel. It is not a consumable soul packet and is not a boss-weapon crafting ingredient.
