Head carved of archtrees by Gough in his
imprisonment. Gough imparts an emotion to
each and every completed carving, which
helps him achieve personal enlightenment.
When a head is disturbed, it speaks,
reflecting the emotion conferred to it.
This head says "Very good!" Have another
look. Does it not appear quite jovial?
Where to find
Mimic reward
Oolacile Township: first wooden bridge
- Free Dusk from the Golden Crystal Golem behind Darkroot Basin's Hydra after defeating the Hydra and reloading the area. Speak to her.
- After placing the Lordvessel, kill the blue golem near the Archives entrance lift for Broken Pendant. Return to Dusk's cave and examine the portal.
- Defeat Sanctuary Guardian, cross Royal Wood and defeat Artorias. The arena gazebo and Township entrance are beyond his arena.
- From the Township bonfire, descend through the first buildings and continue toward the stretch where Chester can invade while you are human.
- Cross the wooden plank bridge and inspect the chest on the side ledge. It is the first Township Mimic; defeat it and collect Very good! Carving.
Notes
- Spoken message: Plays the "Very Good!" voice line when used. It is a reusable communication item.
- Correct Mimic: This is the earlier Township Mimic. The later Mimic in the room beneath a wooden floor holds Crest Key instead.
- No invasion prerequisite: You can collect the carving while hollow and without fighting Chester's invading phantom. The Mimic reward does not depend on his invasion.
- Fixed reward: This is the designated Mimic reward rather than a rare drop from every Mimic. It is separate from the random Symbol of Avarice roll.
