In-game description

Mask of the Lord's Blade Ciaran,
one of Gwyn's Four Knights.

The cyclops headpiece is common to all of
the Lord's Blades, but Ciaran was determined
to earn this soft porcelain mask as a unique
decoration of honor. The mask is lined with
ivory locks of hair.

Artorias' arena, Royal Wood

Requirements

  • Defeat Artorias and return while Ciaran is still at the memorial.
  1. Defeat Artorias, leave his arena and reload the area. Return to find Ciaran kneeling at the memorial.
  2. Kill Ciaran and collect her outfit. Giving her the Soul of Artorias rewards her two weapons, but does not award the armor.
  • Giving her the soul and then leaving can allow her to depart. Decide before ending the encounter; killing her is permanent for this journey.

Notes

  • Weight and poise: Equips on the head, weighs 2.5 and provides 3 poise. Poise helps resist stagger; it does not reduce health damage.
  • Physical protection: Provides 13 normal physical defense at base reinforcement. Its strongest physical protection at this level is against thrust damage. Different attack types use different physical defenses.
  • Protection: At base reinforcement, its elemental defense is 10 magic, 12 fire, 8 lightning. Fire is its strongest elemental defense at this level. Defense values are not percentages of incoming damage blocked.
  • Status resistance: Adds 11 bleed, 19 poison and 11 curse resistance at base reinforcement. These help resist buildup; they do not cure an existing status.
  • Reinforcement: Reinforce to +5 with Twinkling Titanite. Reinforcement improves defenses and resistances without changing weight, poise or maximum durability. Armor does not use weapon embers or elemental conversion paths.
  • Separate rewards: The Porcelain Mask belongs to this set. The Gold Tracer and Dark Silver Tracer are weapons, not additional armor pieces.
  • No automatic stealth: The outfit does not grant invisibility or make enemies unable to detect you.
